We’re about to be in the Find Out stage of this experiment I think. There’s going to come a day when the checks don’t clear, the vets get turned away at the VA, and the infrastructure can’t be rebuilt.
I truly wonder how bad they’ll let things get, or if things will get out of hand. Surely the power (money) behind the throne is aware of the pitchforks and torches approach to democracy. But, ah, hubris. It’s all so surreal, I don’t know what to expect. “May you live in interesting times” indeed.
